Fulfilling America’s Promise—Make Congress Work Again is a political advocacy organization dedicated to depolarizing American governance. Our mission is to reduce the disproportionate influence of ideological extremes on both the left and right by advancing a practical, bipartisan approach to governing that prioritizes results, accountability, and institutional competence.

We are seeking a senior, trusted leader to help launch and grow a national bipartisan coalition ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

This is not a traditional campaign position, partisan advocacy role, or media-driven job. It is a relationship-based leadership role focused on credibility, coalition-building, and long-term impact.

The Role

The National Bipartisan Coalition & Advancement Director will be responsible for building cross-partisan partnerships, engaging moderate and governable candidates and officeholders, and helping secure early-stage funding to support the organization’s work.

The role requires sound political judgment, discretion, and comfort operating in a resource-constrained, early-stage environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Build and maintain trusted relationships with bipartisan and governance-focused organizations

  • Develop and secure credible organizational endorsements and strategic partnerships
  • Identify and engage moderate, pragmatic candidates and officeholders relevant to the 2026 cycle
  • Help shape endorsement criteria grounded in governing behavior, not rhetoric
  • Participate directly in relationship-based fundraising and donor cultivation
  • Drive mission-aligned traffic to the organization’s Donate page
  • Support disciplined, non-polarizing messaging and public positioning
  • Advise on early organizational priorities and strategic sequencing

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience working credibly across party lines
  • Strong political judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence
  • Proven coalition-building or partnership-development experience
  • Comfort asking individuals and institutions for financial support
  • Ability to operate effectively with limited resources and minimal staff

This position is not:

  • A partisan campaign management role
  • A media, social-media, or influencer position
  • A protest, movement-organizing, or ideological advocacy role

Compensation & Structure

  • Modest base compensation consistent with an early-stage organization
  • Performance-based incentives tied to funds raised, endorsements secured, and partnerships developed
  • Flexible structure (full-time or substantial part-time), depending on candidate fit
